Work & Experience
Service Manager responsible for leading teams to deliver high quality, person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities and epilepsy. Oversee day-to-day service delivery, staff management, care planning, safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to promote the safety, wellbeing, and independence of the individuals supported.
To provide dedicated support to the Registered Care Home Manager in the effective planning and day-to-day operation of the care home, ensuring full compliance with the standards set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This includes maintaining a balanced approach to both clinical excellence and business management, in alignment with the values, vision, and ethos of Aspen Place.
Contribute to the effective management of the nursing team by actively participating in the review and analysis of individualized care plans. This includes assessing each resident's social, emotional, and clinical needs, and ensuring that these needs are met in accordance with their personal preferences and best interests. Particular focus is placed on residents diagnosed with Dementia, learning disabilities, and motor neuron disease, ensuring that care is delivered with sensitivity, dignity, and in alignment with person-centered care principles.
To provide effective and proactive support to surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring all aspects of patient care and operative assistance are delivered to the highest clinical standards. This includes strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols, as well as rigorous implementation of measures to prevent cross-contamination throughout each procedure. Additionally, ensure that all surgical practices are carried out in full compliance with the clinical and surgical guidelines established by the Trust, thereby promoting patient safety, procedural efficiency, and excellence in care delivery.

This dual role supports the provision of consistent, hands-on care for residents living with Dementia, older adults, and younger adults with learning difficulties, ensuring continuity, clinical oversight, and excellence in care delivery across all service user groups.
Provides high-quality, person-centred care to service users with Learning Disabilities, Dementia, and those requiring elderly care by developing and implementing individualized care plans. These care plans are formulated based on comprehensive initial assessments and are continuously reviewed and updated on a monthly basis, or as needed, to reflect any changes in the service user’s clinical, emotional, or social needs.
